RENAUX'S HEDGEHOG BIRTHDAY CAKE

So, this cake has to rate right up there with what I thought might be one of my biggest challenges! ( :  But, when all was said and done, I think this little hedgehog turned out pretty cute!  It was requested for a daughter who has a very special pet hedgehog......and after doing my research and seeing pictures of some pretty adorable little creatures.........I can see how they might be irresistable!

His coat is piped buttecream and his face and paws are made from fondant and gumpaste
